Q: How do I access Kanopy videos off-campus?

Kanopy is only available to current SUNY Broome students and faculty. To view films from off-campus:

A. If accessing from direct link to a video:

1. Click on the large red button labeled "Get Started"
2. Click on the button labeled "Find University"
3. Type "SUNY Broome Community College" into the search box and select
4. Click the red button labeled "Next"
5. Click the red button labeled "Log In To SUNYBROOME"
6. A window will pop up and ask for your mycollege username and password.
7. You can now start viewing the selected film!

B. If accessing from the Kanopy database from the library website:

1. Click on the link to Kanopy.
2. Click on the large button labeled "Log in to SUNYBROOME."
3. On that page, click on the button labeled "Log in to SUNYBROOME."
4. A pop-up window will open and you will login using your mycollege credentials.
5. After logging in with your mycollege, you should be redirected to the Kanopy homepage (click skip to avoid creating an individual account--it is not needed.
6. You can now look through the SUNY Broome collection and start viewing films!  Available films should appear in a list on the homepage.  Any other film must be requested to be viewed.
